Narrative Therapy seeks to helps us see our life as a different story to the one we may have been living with. We focus on building new stories, from life’s experience which have a positive impact, and to reduce the impact of those stories which cause us trauma.

Felicity is a Certified Narrative Therapy Community Mentor. She has had the experience of writing many trauma stories for clients, and seen the enormous benefits of the task.

With this package you will receive a personalised workshop with Felicity, to help you determine the way your story will be re-written. You will access the My Story App to complete the task of writing and optionally publishing your story in a book. The My Story App is easy-to-use writing software, which requires no writing skills.

About the My Story App:

You can speak your story, type it, or scan in handwritten stories, letters or journals. Editing, grammar checking and the task of structuring a whole life in story are made easy with the My Story App. Include unlimited photos along the way. Your story will be recorded electronically, and there is an option to print it in a variety of sizes and qualities, from a beautiful, hard-cover coffee table-style book, to a small paperback novel.

And all the way, Felicity will be available for questions if you get stuck – a real person, on a real phone number.

Here are some features which make this the easiest way to record your story with the My Story App:

   2. Use Voice-to-Text – speak your story and watch the words type themselves;
   3. Convert your hard copy diaries or printed writing into an electronic format
   4. Or, a mix of all of the above!
   5. You can add photos throughout your story
   6. No need to worry about structure, record the stories as they come to you, then move chapters around into their correct order with the easy-to-use Library interface
   7. Use the “Edit Your Work” page to tidy up your grammar, add some ‘flavour’ to your writing, or even write it for you from your suggestions
   8. Decide on a cover image and title, hit Preview and you will see your whole life story book! Save it for yourself, your friends, the kids and grandkids, and for posterity.
   9. Hit optional print (extra cost) and wait for your beautiful, book to arrive at your door.
   10. Subscription lasts a year, so you have plenty of time, but also encouragement to get writing!
