Modules are:
Write A Book: We learn how to generate amazing ideas for books; Then, how to structure a whole book, using plot, setting and character. The writer will finish this module with a completed chapter plan – all chapters are mapped out for their specific book idea. Writing is then submitted for personalised mentoring.
Developing Characters: Using Harry Potter as an example, we look at how to develop cracking characters, which our readers will love. We see how to create tension in a book, and learn about protagonists, antagonists, cast and crew. Writing is then submitted for personalised mentoring.
Dialogue and Your Writers ‘Voice’: Having perfect dialogue is tricky but all important, and this module will show you how using easy processes. Your writer’s ‘voice’ and the ‘voice’ of your characters is how you make your work stand out from the crowd by loading it up with memorable personality.
Finish That Book: This module shows the writer an easy and fun step-by-step method on how to write each chapter of their book, to ensure it is finished. Writing prompts and examples keep the writer stimulated to encourage completing a long work. Writing is then submitted for personalised mentoring.
Editing and An Insider’s Publishing/Competition Tips and Tricks: Editing our work once complete is a highly valuable skill, but one which needs encouraging! This workshop is once again designed to be motivating, with easy-to-achieve processes, all with a little bit of fun woven in. Industry insider tips and tricks for publishing and competition pieces included! Writing is then submitted for personalised mentoring.
