I am passionate that everyone should record the stories inside them – for yourself, for your loved ones, for posterity, for healing from trauma and simply because, yes, you are interesting!

To that end, I have tried to make my writing services affordable for all – whether you want someone to write your story for you, or you want to write your own, with or without my help.

I developed the My Story App, which enables every single person to tell their story – those living with a disability, children, non-literate people, and exceedingly literate people – EVERYONE! No one story is less important than another.

But who am I anyway?

I am PASSIONATE that everyone tell their story and feel emboldened because of it. Or healed, or excited, or just plain old proud!

I started life as a journalist on the Sydney Morning Herald, Australian Women’s Weekly, Mamamia and My Child magazine here in Australia, and The Mirror UK, New Woman Magazine, The Irish Times, and Drapers Record overseas, among others, writing about the good stuff – fashion, beauty, entertainment, travel, food and celebrities. Something people always find amusing about me is I may well have begun my career amidst all the fluff and sequins of a fashion editor’s world, but boy do I love the purrr and scream of an F1 engine!

After raising four babies whilst freelance writing from home, I decided I wanted to mingle with adults, and began my life story writing business, and coaching young writers to tell their stories. Along the way, I picked up accreditation as a NSW Government Creative Kids Provider, certification for Narrative Therapy in the Community, Lifeline Accidental Counsellor, and am a Board Member of Life Stories Australia. I have now written over 60 life stories in the past decade, and have mentored thousands of young writers to realise their storytelling dreams!
